It’s the Anderson’s against an Army
An army of ants of course. We’ve been noticing a few of the pesky things in our trailer this afternoon. Just these little itty bitty ones. Enough to drive me crazy. Kevin went outside and poured some Ajax (we heard this works well) around the feet of the trailer in the front. Sure enough we are parked right on an anthill. Well…now we have lots. They are no longer able to climb up the legs of the trailer because of the Ajax…but the ones we have in the trailer are plentiful. We have set out traps…but the only one eating out of the traps is Jazzy. Luckily I caught her before she got right into the traps. She had just started chewing on the plastic. Well, if any of you have any suggestions on how to get rid of them…I would love to hear it. I am going to do a fall cleaning through the entire trailer…I hate ants. We had them in Florida about 5 years ago in our last trailer. We were there in the spring and big red ants came in that time. They eventually froze as we drove more North and then there were none. I guess maybe we can fumigate if we have no other choice, but that’s yucky and smelly and has way too many chemicals for me. I’m going to do a search on the internet and see what we can do. All I know is that it’s them against us…and we’re going to win this battle….

HI - we have some kinda liquid drops here in Canada that are awesome. check the places like Wal-mart or big hardware stores - Home depot etc. You just put a drop here and there ( on plastic ) where the ants go and it seems to get them “gone” !!! We take it to Mexico with us, everything is concrete and mortar and blocks that are porous there and and the little critters show up occasionally.
